Introduction

COFASP has launched a total of 3 calls

The first call was launched on 1 February 2014, and the thematic focus included all three sectors that COFASP focuses on: Fisheries, Aquaculture and Seafood Processing.

The second call was launched on 15 February 2015 and closed on 17 June 2015. Thematic focus: Resource optimisation, mapping and reduction of ecological footprint, environmental sustainability of aquaculture, fisheries and seafood processing and interaction with other production

The third call was launched 21 March 2016 and closed on 29 June 2016. The call is a joint call with ERA-NET MarineBiotech (ERA-MBT). Topics are therefore focused on the cross border areas of the two ERA-NETs. Thematic focus: Applications are required to demonstrate a significant biotechnology component in the planned research, using elements of the marine biotechnology “toolbox” or research which contributes to the development of new generic tools and/or methods relevant to marine biotechnology
